Please note that these are not necessarily the official names supplied by Epoch/Flair/Tomy. We quite often give our Sylvanians new names if we think they suit them better.
Marlin Polaris is a keen fisherman, who ventures out early each morning in the boat he shares with Mr Mistoffelees. This gives him time to clean the catch ready for it to be served up in the Polaris family's Fish & Chip shop for lunch.
Marina Polaris is responsible for cooking the delicious fish that her husband catches. She also makes the most delicious crunchy chips! When the Fish & Chip shop is closed, Marina and Marlin both enjoy spending time with their family and friends.
Sereia Polaris (8 yrs) loves the ocean. Her favourite thing to do is spend time at the beach, swimming, collecting shells, and just feeling the sand between her toes. She sometimes helps her mum peel the potatoes for the shop, and is often rewarded for this with money to spend at the nearby ice-cream shop.
Nixie Polaris (4 yrs) is a happy, active little bear who also loves the beach. When not jumping about in the waves, she loves to make huge sandcastles. Sometimes she recruits other children to help, but her sister isn't too keen anymore, as she knows Nixie will want to jump on the castles afterward.
